About

Measure Before You Buy makes free calculators that help you work out how much material to buy for home projects. Each tool explains the formula it uses and the assumptions behind it, so you can adjust for your own situation.

Results are estimates. Always check product labels and measure your space before buying.

Some pages may include links to products. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what a calculator tells you.
